Juliet Chung, M.D.
Dr. Juliet Chung is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the surgical and medical treatment of glaucoma. She is a Clinical Instructor at the Jules Stein Eye Institute and an attending physician at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Department of Surgery where she supervises the glaucoma clinic and teaches residents.

Dr. Chung received her Bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from UCLA and her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, one of the country’s finest medical schools. Following the completion of her residency at the Cullen Eye Institute at Baylor College of Medicine, she gained further training as a glaucoma fellow at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. Dr. Chung has earned numerous honors and awards for her scholarship and clinical excellence. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the American Glaucoma Society (AGS). Dr. Chung’s research publications have appeared in peer-reviewed medical journals including Ophthalmology, the American Journal of Ophthalmology, and the Journal of Glaucoma.
Dr. Chung was born and raised in southern California and lives in Santa Monica with her husband Kent and her twins, Noah and Olivia. She is fluent in Korean and also travels internationally as a medical missionary.
