Dr. Shahrooz is a highly skilled ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon based in Los Angeles, specializing in refractive and complex cataract surgery, as well as anterior segment reconstruction. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Advanced Vision Care, having completed her fellowship in anterior segment surgery at the renowned Masket Foundation.⁠

Dr. Shahrooz earned her undergraduate degree in Physiologic Science at UCLA, followed by a master’s in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University. She received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, and completed her residency at Georgetown University Hospital/MedStar Washington Hospital Center.⁠
